It really would be nice to have a group of people who are actually there for the love of the music. Its crazy to see how many people are there out of their mind and they don't even know whos performing that night. I'm technically still an orphan when it comes to rave families, just want to find that perfect group
I 100% agree with you. I don’t have a group yet either :( the scene here isn’t big at all and I’m basically limited to my friend who thankfully is one of my best and has a very similar taste and appreciation for the music. but I feel like everyone has that x10 with their groups. half the experience is sharing it with others
“I’m not fascinated by people who smile all the time. What I find interesting is the way people look when they are lost in thought, when their face becomes angry or serious, when they bite their lip, the way they glance, the way they look down when they walk, when they are alone and smoking a cigarette, when they smirk, the way they half smile, the way they try and hold back tears, the way when their face says they want to say something but can’t, the way they look at someone they want or love… I love the way people look when they do these things. It’s… beautiful.”—Anonymous (via larmoyante)
Aww, I wish we could rave with together, Amanda! I go to events sober more often than not. I wish there were more people who went sober, too, but the way the edm scene is blowing up and becoming mainstream, unfortunately the people that are flocking to events are just looking for a party.
I KNOWWW, I want to rave with you :’( It would be so much fun. I just wish it wasn’t so appealing to the people who just go for the drugs and partying.. the music is most important always. As long as people understand that, I’m fine with them.
I know there really are so few people out there... we're the last of a dying breed
it’s depressing to think about actually. even the small A&B show I went to had people getting kicked out for smoking there like idiots. I don’t have a thing against the people who do decide to get fucked up, but I feel like any friends I find into raving in the future will likely be really pro-drug.. :(
